Jtowns, you need to widen the discussion to change the parking problems here. Dickie's is a DC institution akin to Bens Chilli Bowl. Perhaps someone from the ANC can start a conversation with them so deliveries can be made, customers can stop, and laws not broken. Until some change is made to accommodate the business & customer needs I don't bet on anyone issuing a ticket because no one issues parking tickets to friends, particularly if it would not be wise to do so. Be respectful of their longstanding place in the community.
